We couldn’t believe our eyes when we first saw these pictures of London. Iconic landscapes of our beloved capital have been recreated in denim. Sweden-based British artist Ian Berry, better known as Denimu, works only with denim to capture typical London scenes. We don’t know about you, but we think this is jean-ius.

With the launch of our new Pre-SS13 collection today, we thought we'd give you a glimpse of our design team's mood board. Here are some of their key words for the season:

COOL EARLY ENGLISH SUMMER.  THE SWIMMING POOL BLUES OF THE SKY.

THE PAVILION SWEATER; THE LIDO-LIKE WAVE PRINT.

THE DELICATE HAND-PAINTED BANDANA PRINT;  NAVY LINEN KNITTED INTO JERSEY AND SWEATERS AND STRIPES.

TWO TONE SILK SHIRTS AND THREE TONE BLUE JEANS.

Oh how we're yearning for all of the above: swimming pools, blue skies, summer...  

We first spotted them in our SS13 look book (sneak peak above), and since then they have been popping up everywhere. The trend: trainers (as in real trainers… trainers for sport) with chic, smart outfits. Elin Kling, Tamu McPherson and many many more have been pulling it off with aplomb.

We've been talking about trainers for a while: Mikey in Look Who's Talking inspired us to hit Niketown and then write this post last year. The shoes are still in action.

The message in a bottle has received a makeover in the form of these colourful balloons.  We think the graphic text combined with the meaning behind the words makes a powerful statement and a cool piece of art.

We love the charm of these mismatched tables and chairs.  When done right, we think the eclectic effect is refreshingly unconventional.
